I have another short update for today. We continue to have zero active COVID-19 cases within our campus community. We are conducting signal testing today and I will provide an update on those results Thursday. We have 12 community members in quarantine, none of whom are in on-campus quarantine spaces. I continue to be appreciative of all that students, faculty, and staff are doing to keep our community healthy. I am confident we will be able to complete the fall semester on campus.
Spring semester: We have teams of faculty and staff working on our detailed plans for next semester. Feedback and ideas from students have also been very helpful and fed into the planning process. As I mentioned previously, we are planning for the campus to be open and look forward to welcoming all students to The Hill who want to be here. We will start the semester in early February. I will share the specific spring academic calendar dates on Thursday of this week.
Appreciation: I want to acknowledge the incredible work of our Dining staff for opening the Silverstein gathering space and C-Store. I also appreciate both the Dining and CLIC teams for the wonderful farmers markets they have been coordinating on campus. Thank you!
