The Provost Office is working with faculty on the spring semester schedule and plans for course delivery. We anticipate that spring courses will be offered in a variety of formats, including in-person, remote and hybrid instruction. In spring, not all courses will be available for students studying remotely for the entire semester. For example, courses that are 100% in-person will not be available to students who are not on campus. Faculty will continue to work with students who need to transition to remote status temporarily.
Students have asked for more information on how a particular course will be taught prior to signing up for it. The Provost Team is working with academic departments to make that possible. We plan to make the spring semester schedule with information about specific course delivery formats available to students in December. We will probably be delaying course registration until December or early January. More information will be forthcoming on how this process will work.
