Support for Software, Hardware, and More
Information Technology Services (ITS) is available to help you with Denison technology services, common software and limited assistance for your personal notebook. Services available include operating system upgrades, software installation/removal, virus/malware removal, best effort data backups/file recovery, hardware troubleshooting, assistance with getting warranty services from vendors, help with some non-warranty hardware issues, and referrals to outside vendors for more complex non-warranty hardware issues. Please note: if you have a problem with your notebook that cannot be addressed by ITS staff, we will refer you to outside vendors for repair.
Hundreds of University Computers Available for Student Use
Denison University has more than 650 university computers available for student use. These computers are located throughout academic buildings in technology-equipped learning spaces, department or public computer labs and Doane Library. The main Fellows Hall public lab is available 24/7 with your Denison ID card. Additional public labs are in Higley, Curtis and Shepardson and are available via swipe access with your Denison ID card. A number of academic labs feature specialized, discipline-specific software or hardware. Access to academic labs are subject to the individual department’s COVID protocols and you should check with the department prior to using.
Can’t get to a computer lab? Denison University ITS is also happy to offer AWS Virtual Lab for access to Denison Lab software (excludes Adobe Creative Cloud).
