Tuition and required fees will be the same regardless of the learning environment. These fees are in exchange for learning, academic credit, and certain non-academic services that will be provided, whether in person, in a hybrid environment, or entirely remote. Students participating in the fall semester entirely remotely will not be charged housing and meal fees. The change in the academic calendar does not affect room and board rates. A typical Denison semester is fourteen weeks of instruction and one week of finals. For fall 2020, notwithstanding the elimination of breaks, fourteen weeks of instruction will take place on campus and there will be one remote week of finals from November 30 to December 4. Students who begin fall remotely and then transition to on-campus learning during the semester or transition from in-person to remote learning during the semester will be charged a prorated amount for housing and meals.
